2014Jul-SepRedevelopment of Community Centre: 2 additional 10m x 5m extensions, new roof all insulated to latest building standards and internal LED lighting throughout ; underfloor heating but no means of providing heat.

OctInstalled Gas supply; commissioned gas heated wet underfloor heating system.
2016AugCompleted the repayments of loans for the expansion of the Community Centre - continued fund raising.
2018JulBeer Fest event planning committee adopt a suggestion-motion to make the event as sustainable as possible starting with using paper straws instead of plastic ones.
2019MarCA Trustees Formally adopts a Sustainability Ethos 'We will do whatever we can to do things in a sustainable manner'
Aug-NovCA members commence informal discussions re a Sustainability Project with Future Partners ( School, Cricket Club and Church)

NovCovid travel restrictions results in the CA conducting its own Energy Surveys on behalf of Locogen to their instructions.
DecAt the initiation and help of a resident apply for and win a grant from WRS to reinsulate one of the original outside Community Centre walls called the WSP Eco wall.

2022MarThe CA is awarded a grant from the Lottery - Communities Fund on behalf of the Partners to continue work of the Monk Fryston and Hillam Community Sustainability Project and for more sustainability work at the Community Centre.
2023Jan-JunUndertake Lottery funded Energy Efficiency work at the Community Centre - Led lighting, Automated lighting controls, additional insulation and replacement Fire doors

JunThe CA starts the development of the New Lottery funded website - which is committed to operate for a least 5 years to enable it to report sustainability performance data.

AugThe CA recognise that Monk Fryston and Hillam's proximity to the National Grid and the former Ferrybridge PS site is making it an Energy Transition 'Hot Spot'; Efforts are made to establish 'without prejudice' good neighbour relationships with the Project Developers.

2025JanThe CA initiate and lead a new sub group - Together Hillam and Monk Fryston to establish what is required to take advantage of any Community Benefits which may arise from any approved Energy Transition Projects.

OngoingThe CA continues to monitor performance of all its Sustainability work and renewable energy technologies and will report periodically through the new website
